Roller Shade Fabrics

 There are three types of roller shade fabrics.

Blackout, which is self-explanatory.

Light filter, which is a unique construction that is opaque from inside and outside.

Mesh or open weave.  The mesh fabrics are rated as to how "open" they are. For example the Basic 10% open is more open than the 1%, so you can see through the 10% more than the 1%.

Less open also would then also block more heat and light.
